Now I do always expect a mess when we do painting or anything creative and that’s fine. But when did some painting the other day, I was amazed that Chloe didnt get any in her hair or start painting her body like usual and made the mistake of saying to Chloe, ‘Oh that was fun and mess free!’. And yes you guessed it, I took the painting bits four steps into the kitchen, placed them on the side, picked up a cloth and walked the four steps back. To find Chloe had decided to use her mucky finger painted hands to turn herself into some kind of Braveheart baby!
Very amusing and I was so glad I’d gone with the washable paint rather than the other type we have which tends to leave a bit of a tinge to the skin.
