Win a gorgeous wooden toy from Toys Naturally (Closed)

http://www.toysnaturally.co.uk

Now it’s probably not a secret that I have a bit of a thing for getting Chloe gorgeous toys and I especially love wooden toys. They just have that lovely feel about them, are made so well you know they’ll last and I always end up finding that Chloe has a much more imaginative and mostly longer playtime with them, sometimes the simplest things really are the best! And I love seeing Chloe’s wooden toys out on display, they look so beautiful, bright and engaging that I’d never hide them away in a toy box.

So with that in mind when the lovely Hillary from Toys Naturally got in contact about running a giveaway for one of the wooden toys she stocks. I quickly nipped over to her site to have a look around, fell in love with it and immediately said yes! It’s just the kind of place I love to browse and buy things from myself. It has a playful, fresh look but is easy to navigate and most importantly, has a whole array of gorgeous toys that I’d love to buy for Chloe. It did make me think why I’d not come across them before when I’ve been looking for some of the other wooden toys we have. But it turns out that Toys Naturally are a new online retailer that only started in September last year, but to look at the range of stock and the site itself, it looks like they’ve been established for years. And that’s down to Hillary’s real passion for the goods she carries, everything has been selected as being ethically made, with reduced air miles/carbon footprints where possible, all manufacturers use FSC wood and of course they all fall in line with the European CE safety code requirements. In a nutshell, they’re environmentally friendly and beautifully made wooden toys.

Hillary also kindly sent us a wooden toy from her range (I cant tell/show you what as it will ruin the giveaway! But it’s lovely) so that we could see how much she cares about the little things that make shopping with her special. Everything is dispatched within 24hrs by first class Royal Mail and all orders are packaged with gift grade tissue paper. For the outside packaging, there’s no bubble wrap and plastic, only card, paper, tape and biodegradable document wallets, so it can all go straight into the recycling. It’s lovely to see an ethical company taking that step further to do their bit to preserve the planet for our children.

It’s a pleasure to hear Hillary speak about her passion for Toys Naturally so I thought I’d let her words do the talking…

‘My daughter, nephew, niece and unborn child are very much my inspiration and drive for running Toys Naturally. The focus is 100% on little people and their parents. I hold stock of everything and if something goes out of stock, I say so clearly on the site. I believe in offering a really good service and stocking quality products that offer enduring play value which ultimately leads to children learning and progressing independently.

Equally important is that the toys look good and are inviting – not just to children but to parents and carers to, so that they are drawn into play and so that toys and play become a natural part of any environment. They should also be open ended with as many different ways to play with as possible which is brilliant for developing skills and cognitive function, but doubly good as it also means more play value and bang for buck.’

I couldnt agree more with everything she says and I’ve already spent some time browsing the site and making a list of things that I’ll be getting for Chloe’s birthday. And of course we’ll need some toys that Chloe can play with the baby when they arrive. Definitely a new addition to my favourite places to shop bookmark.
